ABOUT ME!
Hey y’all! My name is Miatta Adé Lebilé (Pronounced Mee-yah-tah Ah-day Leh-bee-lay). I am a Nigerian-American, Texan born, Houston-raised, and L.A.- based performer. I spent much of my younger years living overseas, first in France, then in Chad, and then finally, Niger, before I moved back to the United States, and I attended Cornell University, where I earned my B.A. in Music.
I have performed in much of the creative sphere, as a singer, on-camera and voice actor, and as a writer. As a singer, in 2019, I was chosen by Academy Award winners Bill Condon , Stephen Schwartz, and Dan Jinks to perform new, original music as part of a presentation for an upcoming movie musical at Disney. I also performed in the new musical feature, Mailman, executive produced by Gus Van Sant. I have a recurring guest star on “All The Queen’s Men” on BET+, a guest star on “Partners in Rhyme” on ALLBLK and co-stars on various other shows.
I have also appeared in dozens of commercials, and I am the spokesperson for Drivetime (yes, the Black lady in the green suit). I also performed in the NBC Diversity Showcase. And finally, my pilot, Pardon My Wrath, placed as a Semi-finalist in the Final Draft “Big Break” contest in 2022.
